Apple just revealed its biggest iPhone yet: the iPhone Xs Max, which has a 6.5-inch screen. Good luck fitting this in your back pocket. Here’s what it brings to the table.
The iPhone Xs Max was announced today at Apple’s annual launch event. It was introduced alongside an upgraded iPhone Xs that has a 5.8-inch OLED screen. The Xs Max starts at $1,099, and the Xs starts at $999.

The iPhone Xs Max has an 6.5-inch OLED screen. But because the screen stretches to the edges of the phone without much of a bezel, the entire phone itself is about the same size as the iPhone 8 Plus, which only has a 5.5-inch display. More screen, less bezel.
The iPhone Xs Max will be offered in a brand new gold color as well as silver and space gray. It comes with an optional 512GB of storage—that’s a whole bunch of storage. Its battery lasts 90 minutes longer than the iPhone X, and an hour longer than the iPhone Xs.
Pre-ordering starts September 14, and the phones are available September 21.We’ll update this post as we learn more.
