Masseur sues Spacey over alleged sexual assault

A California masseur has become the latest to accuse actor Kevin Spacey of sexual assault.

The man, identified only as John Doe in court documents, has filed a lawsuit against the Oscar winner.

He alleges that Spacey groped him during a massage in Malibu two years ago.

The masseur was able to escape but left some of his massage supplies behind in the rush, the lawsuit alleges.

Spacey, 58, was one of the world’s most famous actors but he has rapidly fallen from grace following allegations by more than a dozen men in the UK and the US.

The first allegation was made in October 2017 by the actor Anthony Rapp, who says Spacey sexually abused him in 1986.

Rapp was 14 at the time and Spacey was 26.

Spacey apologised but said he did not remember the incident.

Regarding the Rapp allegation, Spacey had said: “If I did behave then as he describes, I owe him the sincerest apology for what would have been deeply inappropriate drunken behaviour and I am sorry for the feelings he describes having carried with him all those years.”

Spacey has not been charged in connection with any of the allegations made but remains under investigation.

His last film, Billionaire Boys Club, did not fare well at the box office when it was released in the summer.

He was also dropped from Netflix’s political drama House Of Cards, and his scenes from Ridley Scott’s film All The Money In The World were cut and reshot with another actor.

British star Dame Judi Dench later commented on the removal of scenes from the Scott film, saying she believed it was wrong.

Spacey said late last year that he was seeking “evaluation and treatment“.
